About Back to Life Ministries
Back to Life Ministries was founded in 2024 by Lizzy, alongside co-founders Monica, Mara, and Jannette. What began as small gatherings to study the Word soon grew into a deeper calling—a desire to not only understand Scripture but to live it out and share it with others.
As we journeyed through the Bible together, we felt God stirring our hearts to disciple, encourage, and equip others in their walk with Christ. From those early gatherings, Back to Life Ministries was born—a movement dedicated to restoring hearts, renewing faith, and reaching lives through the power of the Gospel.
Our passion for sharing God’s truth has led to the launch of the Bound by Grace Bible Talk podcast, as well as ongoing efforts to expand our reach through teaching, discipleship, and outreach. We are committed to walking alongside those seeking Christ, offering encouragement and biblical truth that strengthens faith and transforms lives.
Every step we take is driven by our unwavering belief that Jesus brings the dead to life, and His grace has the power to transform anyone, anywhere. What began as a small group of women hungry for more of God has grown into a ministry devoted to boldly sharing His love, discipling believers, and making an eternal impact—one heart at a time.

Ada (Lizzy) Edwards, Founder - Podcast Director
As Podcast Director of Bound by Grace Bible Talk, my heart is driven by an immense desire to reach as many people as possible with the gospel of Christ. This ministry was born out of a deep love for God and a calling to share His message of salvation, healing, and hope.
My journey with Christ has been one of transformation. I’ve experienced firsthand how amazing and beautiful He is, and I long for others to know Him in that way too. God has brought me back to life, and through this ministry, I want to share that same life-giving power with the world.
Alongside my incredible team, we've spent time immersed in God’s Word, preparing and equipping ourselves to take this step of faith. It’s my testimony of God’s love, grace, and restoration that fuels my passion to serve, and I am excited to share this with all who will listen.
Monica Natal, Co- Founder - Social Media Director
Monica is a woman transformed by the power of God, and her testimony reflects the profound change that Christ has brought into her life. As a Social Media Director of Back to Life Ministries, Monica is deeply passionate about sharing her journey with everyone she encounters. Led by the Holy Spirit, she seeks to inspire others to experience the same life-changing relationship with Christ.
For Monica, there is nothing more important than spreading the message of God’s love and power. She lives each day to glorify Him through her words and actions, using the ministry’s platforms to reach others and help them encounter His transforming grace.
Mara Crespo, Co-Founder - Operations Director
Mara is driven by a deep passion to share the love of Christ with others. As the Operations Director of Back to Life Ministries, she is committed to helping people experience the transformative power of God’s love. Her heart for teaching and guiding others in their faith journey reflects her dedication to spreading the gospel.
In her role, Mara oversees the ministry’s daily operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently to support its mission. She also plays an active role in the Discipleship Program alongside Deidre, helping to equip new believers with biblical teachings and practical guidance for their faith journey. Her leadership helps create structure and organization, allowing the team to focus on outreach, discipleship, and sharing God’s Word.
Through her dedication, she hopes to inspire others to build a personal relationship with Christ and live in the fullness of His grace.
Jannette Valentin, Co-Founder - Engagement & Outreach Director
Jannette Valentin has always known about God's existence and has prayed throughout her life, but it wasn’t until recent years that she truly embraced a life of discipline and obedience to His Word. That pivotal decision to follow God’s teachings more closely transformed every aspect of her life. Through obedience, she began to understand the power and joy of living according to His will.
Since then, she has become more involved in her church and ministry and has seen God work in ways she never imagined. As the Engagement & Outreach Director of Back to Life Ministries, Jannette is dedicated to fostering connections within the community, building relationships, and expanding the ministry’s reach. She is passionate about creating opportunities for others to encounter God’s transformative love and truth.
She is excited about what the future holds, both in her personal walk with God and in the work He is doing through Back to Life Ministries. She trusts that as she continues to walk in faith and obedience, God will guide her steps, and she looks forward to seeing His plans unfold.
Deidre Johnson, Discipleship Program Director
After a miraculous healing from God, Deidre Johnson experienced firsthand the transformative power of His Word and how it can change any situation in life. One of her favorite scriptures is Proverbs 18:21 – "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." She is passionate about teaching others to use God's Word to "Speak Life" over their circumstances.
Deidre joined our Bible studies only a few months later and as the Discipleship Program Director of Back to Life Ministries, Deidre plays a vital role in equipping new believers with a strong biblical foundation. Through structured discipleship teachings, mentorship, and practical guidance, she ensures that individuals grow in their faith and walk in the fullness of God’s truth. Her wisdom, leadership, and dedication to biblical teaching strengthen the ministry’s mission of sharing the gospel and empowering others to live transformed lives in Christ.
